The M550 Semi-Automatic Tyre Changer is a higher specified machine for use where enhanced performance levels are required. This unit is the perfect choice for specialist tyre fitting businesses and workshops aiming for higher levels of tyre sales.

Features include:

Rigid column / side arm design - this is the strongest and most wear-free configuration available for a tyre changer. By eliminating all the highly stressed and wear prone mechanisms found in "tilt-column" machines, this design will always maintain its integrity and strength. This ensures that rim protection and high accuracy is maintained over years of constant use. It is also the most compact configuration which makes the best use of space as it can be placed against a wall.

Total Wheel Protection - All our tyre changers feature replaceable polypropylene jaw pads & jaw covers to protect wheels at all times. Polypropylene covers are also supplied for the tyre lever and bead-breaker blade ensuring all chance of metal-to-metal contact is eliminated. The demount heads of all ProBike tyre changers are lifted clear from the wheel rim automatically during use and have plastic inserts to be doubly safe.

Centrally aligned jaws - means that they are always at 90 degrees to any size wheel providing optimum centering & rim protection. Aligned jaws ensure perfect grip for all diameter wheel rims, which is why the range of wheels the M550 tyre changer will accept is so comprehensive - even custom front wheels of 28 inches can be clamped.

Universal Car / Bike / ATV / Scooter - the M550 features removable, reversible wheel clamps for a comprehensive wheel mounting solution. In practice, the clamps are left on the machine in their normal position for use with a range of motorcycle wheels. For small ATV or scooter wheels, the clamps can be reversed to reduce the clamping range down to 5"; For use with car wheels the clamps can be removed and the supplied plastic lower jaw covers fitted. In this way car and small commercial wheels of 12"-24" up to 13" wide can be accommodated.

Supplied complete with - pneumatic bead-breaker, professional tyre inflator, tyre lever and plastic cover, tyre lube, paste brush, spare polypropylene demount head inserts, lower jaw cover set.
